Lots of bad juju happened today, but I've been sketching people on my Facebook feed the past few pages. Maybe I'll come up with something bigger and better soon-- if the world around me would stop crumbling. McDonald's napkins suck dick. That is all.

Couple sketches I did the past week. I haven't done any sketching these past two days.. caught up with family, but I'm going to start going out into the fields by myself and sketch. I don't want to be bothered, and as much as I love the family here, there's a huge lack of privacy.

Here's a napkin I worked on at Donutes-- A cafe that's open late night here. It's actually a really nice place to sketch, aside from it being half an hour away, and with extremely high chairs.

Nothing Lasts Forever

Especially not napkins... And good napkins are hard to find, let me tell you. Hil treated me out to BJ's tonight in celebration of my graduation. My last day of class at Westwood was today, and I'm psyched. I had to alter this photo because my phone couldn't catch the metallic details of the marker. So you can see a it a little more, I brightened contrast and darkened the overall picture. This was drawn on a black BJ's napkin.

Here's a sketch I did today while we were assembling our 3D models of our carnival assets into UDK. For those of you who haven't heard of the UDK engine, it's awesome on a FAST computer. We, however, were not fortunate enough to have a fast computer. Thus, we hated our lives. But good news: today's our last day. And today's my last day. Permanently.
